Personal data processing policy
Version of 3 October 2026
1. General provisions
This policy describes what data the effortframe.com website (the website) collects, why and how it is processed, and how to opt out. It is published under Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data”.
The personal data operator is the owner of the EffortFrame service (the operator). For any question about how your data is handled, write to privacy@effortframe.com.
This policy covers the effortframe.com website only. The web app at app.effortframe.com processes videos and workout files in the user’s browser and does not upload them to the operator’s servers.
2. What data is collected
The website has no forms and never asks for your name, phone number or email address. Cookies and web analytics services automatically collect:
- your IP address and the country and city derived from it;
- details of your browser, operating system and device, language and screen size;
- the pages you view, the referring source including UTM tags, and the date and time of the visit;
- actions on the pages: clicks, scrolling, link clicks, and a recording of the sequence of actions on the page by the Webvisor feature of Yandex Metrica;
- identifiers that analytics services store in cookies.
3. Purposes
- to understand how visitors use the website and to improve the website and the EffortFrame service;
- to measure which publications and sources bring visitors.
The operator does not try to identify visitors from this data, does not make decisions with legal effects based on it, and does not sell it.
4. Third-party services and data transfers
- Yandex Metrica — YANDEX LLC, Russia. Terms of use.
- Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager — Google LLC, USA. Data processed by this service is transferred outside the Russian Federation. Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — Google LLC, USA. The website’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers, so Google receives the visitor’s IP address and browser details on every page view, including after opting out of analytics. This data is transferred outside the Russian Federation. Google Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare — Cloudflare, Inc., USA. The website is hosted on Cloudflare, whose servers process technical request data (IP address, browser details) to deliver the page. This data is transferred outside the Russian Federation. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
These companies process data under their own terms. The operator does not share data with any other third party except where required by law.
5. Legal basis
Data is processed on the basis of the visitor’s consent. On the first visit the website shows a notice about cookies with a link to this policy. By continuing to use the website, the visitor agrees to data processing on the terms of this policy, and can opt out at any time as described in section 6.
6. How to opt out
- Click “Decline” in the notice. From the next page load the website stops loading Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics in this browser on this device. The choice is saved in your browser’s storage: if the browser does not allow the website to store data, the choice will not be remembered and the notice will appear again.
- If you have already closed the notice, clear this website’s data in your browser settings and the notice will appear again.
- Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings limits the identifiers that analytics services store, but does not switch the counters off: visit data — IP address, pages viewed, device — will still be sent. To switch the counters off, click “Decline”.
- For Google Analytics you can install the opt-out browser add-on.
- Write to the operator at privacy@effortframe.com.
7. Retention
Analytics cookies stay in your browser until you delete them, but no longer than the period set by the service: up to one year for Yandex Metrica and up to two years for Google Analytics. Retention of collected statistics on the services’ side is governed by their terms.
The website itself stores only your choice in the cookie notice in your browser’s storage (localStorage) — an ef-consent entry with the value accepted or refused. It contains no personal data, is not sent to the operator, and stays until you clear the website’s data.
8. Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the processing of your data, to request that it be corrected, blocked or destroyed, to withdraw consent, and to appeal the operator’s actions to Roskomnadzor or in court. Send requests to privacy@effortframe.com; the operator replies within 10 business days.
9. Data protection
The website is served over HTTPS only. Only the operator has access to the statistics in the analytics services.
10. Changes to this policy
The operator may update this policy. A new version takes effect when it is published on this page; the version date is shown at the top.
